History

The firm has it's roots going back to an accounting firm founded some 50 plus years ago. In 1977 that firm was acquired by the current President of Leading Edge Professional Services, Thomas E. Kohl CPA. Over the past 30 plus years, the firm has evolved from a traditional CPA firm into a single source provider of business services. In the fall of 1997, in response to our clients needs, we added computer services which now are provided by Netwise Computer Solutions, a division of Leading Edge Professional Services. In the fall of 1998, we added Life and Health Insurance as well as brokerage services for the purpose of providing our clients an alternative to outside sources. Due to regulatory issues, these services are now provided outside of Kohl & Company.
